I work best when the brief isn’t neat.
I spent eight years at Cochlear working on connected medical products and remote care, and I now work across product, service and operational problems with smaller businesses and teams.
I tend to get involved where research, product direction and delivery overlap. Sometimes that means defining the brief. Sometimes it means untangling an existing service. Sometimes it means getting into the details and shipping the thing.
I’m comfortable moving between strategy and implementation, and I’d rather simplify a system than add another layer to it.
Ways I can work with a team
Senior contract product design
I can slot into an existing team and take on complex product work from discovery through validation and delivery.
Product & experience strategy
Useful when the brief is fuzzy, the product has grown messy, or the team needs a clearer direction before building.
Fractional leadership & consulting
For smaller teams that need senior product and design thinking without a full-time role.
AI is part of how I work, not a separate service.
I use it when it shortens the gap between a decision and a working change — analysing research, exploring ideas, configuring systems, writing small pieces of code and testing solutions.
I still bring in specialists when the problem needs deeper engineering or domain expertise.
Experience
Product and experience design, implementation and delivery leadership across commerce and operations.
Service design and patient programme tracking for clinic operations.
Senior Product & Experience Designer across connected products and Remote Care.
Alive Mobile Group, Equilibrium Digital and design leadership across agency and client-side work.
Based in Australia. My full CV includes earlier roles, education and professional development.
